Spotted! Evangeline Lilly and Emilie De Ravin Shooting Lost in Los Angeles

Today 11:28 AM PST by Kristin Dos Santos

Well, this just makes us all tingly.

In case you Lost fans need further confirmation that Emilie de Ravin will most certainly be a part of the final season, we can tell you there's no doubt about it!

Lookie-loos over at ABC Studios in Burbank tell me Evangeline Lilly and Emilie were shooting a scene for Lost just this very morning.

So does this mean Claire and Kate meet up again? And what's this about a baby bump?!

Here's the scoop...

Evangeline and Emilie were reshooting a scene for the season premiere episode of Lost, which will air Feb. 2.

The scene was originally taped in Hawaii but had to be reshot, and because Evangeline, Emilie and director Jack Bender all happened to be in Los Angeles (the cast is on hiatus), they decided to shoot it at ABC Studios.

According to a source on set, the scene involved a gun, a cab driver and a...wait for it, certain female actress sporting a baby bump.

Gaaah!

So is Kate gonna have a bun in the oven? Perhaps a little Sawyer or Jack? Will Claire reappear pregnant? Or is it a flashback to when Claire was with child (Aaron)? Maybe Kate and Claire met before?

As usual, on this series, anything is possible, so it's probably none of the options above. And we have to wait until Feb. 2 to get some answers. Anyone else counting the minutes?

Latest Spoilers from Kristin

Posted by The ODI on Tuesday, November 24, 2009

JasonBuskin via Twitter: Lost premiere is Groundhog Day. Coincidence?
Nope! I'm told it was fully intentional. Not so much by Lost's producers but by the higher-ups (Steve McPherson) at ABC. Pretty awesome, right?

Annie B.: I don't care about alt Lost where Sawyer and Kate apparently do cross paths. Do you have any info about Sawyer/Kate on the Island, or are they doomed in the present time line (with Suliet and Jate still going strong)?
I know Team Darlton referred to "killing off" Juliet in their latest interview with People, but you've probably figured out by now that we'll see her alive somehow, which my source confirms. Hence, her guest spots in a few episodes on the sixth season.

Darrell in New Jersey: It's almost December already! Lost, please!
Honestly, guys, I'm so freaking confused right now because my rock-solid source is telling me two things that seem to contradict each other. I know most of you have heard about the "alt Lost" this season (see question above), and so have I. But I'm also told that the thing that I'm pretty sure needs to happen for "alt Lost" to happen does not happen. So until I know more (hopefully soon), I'm keeping my mouth shut and sending a magical little Pac-Man head to come and eat all the words I just wrote. Go, Pac-Man, go! Quick! In the meantime, if you have any good theories, post 'em below, will ya?

Filming Update - Main Characters Spotted in Others Gear

Posted by The ODI on Monday, November 23, 2009

UPDATED 9PM PST: Thanks to Wayfinder for the latest details on who was on set and what occurred:

I can confirm these people: Sawyer, Sayid, Locke, Kate, Jin, Cindy (all decked out in Others gear), and a whole bunch of Others, including some kids

Juliette was not there, at least while i was there anyway, I watched from about 12:30 till they wrapped around 4. on my way up to the set i found out that they had stopped for lunch, there were a bunch of Others walking down in their gear, (at least 20 of them) I got a picture with Terry O'Quinn. Sheila Kelly was there, but she wasnt shooting, she was just watching, she's gonna be in the next episode. I talked to her, I asked her if she was gonna play Kendall and she just looked at me, grinned slightly and said she wasn't allowed to say. As far as details of the shoot, I couldnt really hear anything, people kept rolling by and taking pictures, which the crew hates by the way. So they kept pushing people back further away.

UPDATE: Apparently the woman spotted was not Kate

Hey All,
Earlier today we got word that the LOST cast and crew were filming at the majestic Manoa Falls.

Lucky for us and some lucky fans who happened to be on a tour of the area near the falls and spotted the filming today.

No word on what was taking place, but confirmed on set were Sawyer, Kate a blond woman and Sayid. Maybe a continuation of Episode 6x08 Recon but of course with on-island scenes.

The confirmation is via a fan on Twitter and there are several tweets between the eye witness and other LOST fans confirming who was on set.

“LOST” on the Case [Updated]

November 21st, 2009

SPOILER ALERT: “LOST” is filming today near Hawaii Pacific University in downtown Honolulu today. Thanks to an email alert widely circulated among HPU staff and students, and a post from an HPU account on Twitter, fans had ample notice to head over to check out the filming.

Early in the morning, this fantastic observation came in from “Ann the LOST Fan”: “Josh Holloway (Sawyer) and Ken Leung (Miles) are here. Sawyer has a badge on his belt, Miles has a gun on his hip.”

One scene took place in front of a “La Brea Property Management” office in “Pacific Tower” (false signs hung on Kukui Plaza). Around the corner, two L.A.P.D. cruisers were parked. Sawyer is waiting in a new-ish but nondescript silver four-door Mercury sedan. Sawyer beckons to Miles, who cautiously walks up to the car, then tries to wave Sawyer off and walk away. But Sawyer calls out and stops him, leans over, and opens the passenger door for Miles.

Miles gets in. Sawyer gives Miles one of two cups of coffee, and they talk. Sawyer then gives Miles a file or folder with photographs, and he flips through it. He looks at one photo intensely, and hands it back.

Miles was wearing dark jeans, a blue plaid collared shirt, and a leather jacket. Sawyer was also in jeans, with a dark, rugged jacket over a gray T-shirt. Miles is definitely a cop, but this scene suggests that even Sawyer somehow again ends up involved with law enforcement. If he is working with Miles, it would appear the pair are a team, just like in the Dharma Initiative circa 1977.

Could it be? Given earlier reports of the pair at a L.A.P.D. station, it seems possible. Sawyer was also seen with Charlotte (Rebecca Mader) at a fancy restaurant earlier this week, and the implication was he was “conning” her. But maybe Sawyer was working for the police, and not a criminal enterprise? Or maybe he’s just playing the cops, too.

I headed down to the set before noon to check things out for myself. As it turns out, “Ann the Lost Fan” lived in Kukui Plaza, and residents of the secured building had a particularly good view of the action.

They set up a quick scene in a narrow alley across the street. The same narrow alley where Michael met Tom in an earlier season. Posters were hung, boxes were strewn, and a hose was used to add an extra layer of wet dinginess. An unfamiliar, slight woman wearing a black jacket and with a gray hood pulled over her head repeatedly ran down the alley as a camera crew filmed her from above (perched atop the Thomas building). She knocked down a stack of boxes as she ran, which would then be carefully set back up for another take.

The HPU email suggested that a woman would be chased, screaming, down the alley (and to therefore not be concerned). But I must have missed the screaming.

For the next scene, a blue Dodge sedan was positioned on the street behind Sawyer’s car, and a stand-in dressed the same way as the running woman sat in the driver’s seat. They set up a dolly to film a zoom-in-to-tight shot of Sawyer in his left-side rear view mirror. Holloway then threw himself violently around behind the wheel, as if rear-ended hard.

Finally, the actors cleared out to set up for a stunt scene. The silver car was swapped out for an identical one, but with a camera in the back seat and a meticulously polished back window. The blue Dodge was backed up about 20 yards, and a large black SUV was added to the mix. Sawyer’s stand in and the woman’s stand in were briefed by Jack Bender as things were put into place.

An all-hands meeting was called in the middle of the street, then everyone took their places. Sawyer’s stand in, with his coffee cup, got into the silver car. So did, it appeared, Miles’ stand-in. The hooded driver got into the blue Dodge, another man in a white tee got into the police car, and the SUV driver got set as well.

And… action!

The blue car sped down the street. The black SUV passed on its left, then cut in front, causing the blue car to swerve and hit Sawyer and Miles’ car. They actually filmed the stunt more than once. The first time, the blue car just gently crunched into the silver car’s driver’s side door. So the crew just pulled out the dents, spray painted the scratches, and buffed out the evidence. The second take was much more solid, the blue car slamming into the back of the silver car, apparently as planned.

Standing by, though, there was an identical pair of silver and blue vehicles. They were apparently going to repeat the scene it until they ran out of cars. But I had run out of time and headed home. But a friend said more filming was going to take place until evening on nearby streets, perhaps to depict the car chase that preceded the crash, or a foot chase that follows.

Though these scenes were obviously shot out of sequence, I’d guess it unfolds as follows: Sawyer flags down Miles from his car, and they meet, sipping coffee and looking over photos. Suddenly, a blue car involved in a police chase crashes into them. The driver, a hooded woman, takes off down an alley.

Throughout the mythology of “LOST,” car crashes have been a major nexus for our characters’ encounters. Miles and Sawyer together is interesting, but who is the woman on the run?

I don’t know for sure. But I’ll give you three guesses.

UPDATE – 7:08 a.m. on Nov. 22: Evangeline Lilly was definitely not part of the car stunt or alley chase scenes filmed earlier in the day, but as many suspected, it looks like the hooded woman was supposed to be Kate. Commenter Bernard writes below:

Hey Ryan, the hooded woman was Evangeline/Kate. I watched the filming of the last shot of the evening at 6pm, by Mercury Bar’s alley way (around the corner from JJ Dolan’s). Josh/Sawyer and Evi/Kate are doing a close up scene where he grabs her by the collar and pushes her up against a doorway. I was close enough to see them, too far to hear them.

Lost's Carlton Cuse Twitters a Return

Which Islander is back for Season 6?
by Matt Fowler

November 19, 2009 - We've all been chomping at the bit for any news items relating to Lost's final season, especially if it has to do with the dead rising from the grave. Or at least beloved actors returning to the show for a final hurrah, be they ghosts or part of an alternate timeline or what have you.

Lost producer Carlton Cuse (@CarltonCuse) sent out a Twitter item today which read:

"We are very happy to welcome Rebecca Mader back to LOST. Just saw some dailies of her new work. Awesome."

Mader, of course, played the doomed DHARMA child Charlotte - the red-headed archeologist doted upon by Jeremy Davies' Daniel Faraday.

Damon Lindelof Interview at Paramount's DVD launch party for Star Trek

Posted by DarkUFO at 11/19/2009 09:17:00 AM

Thanks to Stegrelo for the heads up. Nothing much new I'm afraid.

Unexpected dish from 'Lost' creator Damon Lindelof falls like manna from heaven.

You never know when it's coming. When it does, you have all the answers you were seeking. Such was the case in Hollywood at Paramount's DVD launch party for 'Star Trek,' which Lindelof produced with his old 'Lost' friend J.J. Abrams.

"We have written 112 episodes, with about 9 more to go. We have come this far, so just trying not to screw it up," Lindelof told AOL at the 'Star Trek' event. "We really want the focus in the last year to be on the original castaways that we have been following since the beginning. But that doesn't mean there won't be a couple new flavors in the mélange. There are a couple new faces, but not as many as there have been in past seasons."

Those new faces will include John Hawkes (of 'Deadwood' and 'Eastbound and Down') as Lennon, a scruffy and charismatic foreign corporate spokesperson, and a cunning negotiator, wielding more influence than someone in his position should. They also include Sheila Kelley, best known from 'LA Law,' as Kendall, an intellectual beauty with a sharp edge to her wit who is caught committing corporate espionage and has to lie her way out.

A variety of several former cast members -- including Ian Somerhalder, Dominic Monaghan and Elizabeth Mitchell – have been confirmed to make return appearances.

"Obviously, we have 18 hours over which to do the ending. I feel we have found the right pace," Lindelof continued. "You only have so much room in your stomach to eat, and you have to digest sometimes too. So we're trying to modulate the season so it doesn't feel like you're waiting, getting little meals, then you get one big meal. It's a flow of courses. You will probably get a little more than you were expecting a little sooner than you were expecting."

Since 'Lost's' premiere in 2004, the show has gone through five seasons of metaphors, islands sinking, smoke monsters, The Others, and walking dead men. Its final season begins reportedly in January. Now that the end is here, it feels "amazing," Lindelof says.

"I can't believe we're going to be able to end the show on our own terms," he says. "To be able to cancel something yourself is a rare treat in the TV biz. And there are no excuses. We get to do the ending on our own terms, and hopefully people will like it."

More 'Lost' dish came from Lindelof to other outlets:

To E! Online: "The questions that count will be answered, and the questions that the fans don't want answered won't be answered, but I think what they're looking for is a real sense of resolution, particularly on a character level. Who's going to live, who's going to die, who's going to hook up with who, why were they all brought here in the first place, was it arbitrary, is there meaning behind it? That's the kind of stuff [we] have to answer, or [we] should be prepared to get rocks thrown at [us]."

To TV Guide Magazine: "All I can say is that we've spent the last five years answering the question, 'Were you guys making it up as you go along?' 'Do you know what you're doing?' It's a great comfort to know that in about six months people will stop asking us that question. They'll basically say 'You were making it up as you go along,' or they'll go 'Wow, you really had a plan.'"

Lindelof also said: "What we don't want to do ... is explain what our intention was. At a certain point, it doesn't matter what our intention was, and we want the fans to vigorously debate certain aspects of the show. Some things will be very conclusive, other things people will think are more conclusive than we meant them and some will be more ambiguous than we meant them, but it wouldn't be Lost if five years from now people weren't still arguing over what they wanted it to be."

Short Michael Emerson interview

Emerson calls Season 6 “dark, bloody, opaque”

In an interview with the Honolulu Star Bulletin, actor Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus) discusses his experiences at the Emmy Awards, and describes what he’s filmed for Season 6 so far — as vaguely as possible, of course. The key excerpt:

Emerson returned to Hawaii in August to shoot the sixth and final season of Lost. Though he confirms that completed episodes are “very dark and bloody,” he’s able to offer little about where the plot is going.

“I thought I would be able to see the ending that was coming, but I can’t,” he says of the series finale. “It’s still so opaque.”

Nor does he have any idea how the character will evolve, though he can guarantee Ben will never veer toward monotony. “I’ve had some vintage Ben stuff already, in the great tradition of Ben Linus manipulating a turnaround or surprising the audience. And there’s lots of that this season.”

Lost Filming Snippets

Posted by DarkUFO at 11/13/2009 10:13:00 AM

Here are some little filming snippets from one of our spies on the set, Celestial Beauty.

Dark- This is what I managed to find out on the set I visiting during the filming at the High School Last Week. You already have a few bits of this but here goes.

- At the school, Alex (Tania Raymonde) is actually a student at this school where Ben is a teacher. She is still "close" to Ben.
- Also spotted at the school are both boom boom Doc Arzt and Rose! No signed of Bernard
- One of the new guests that you posted, William Atherton, was on the set. He is actually the Principle of the school, however I'll leave you with this cryptic snippet. Although he is the principle, that may not actually be his only role!
- Locke and Ben both work at the School

“LOST” on the Menu

November 16th, 2009

SPOILER ALERT: Many “LOST” fans visit Honolulu in the hopes of coming across a location shoot or two, particularly now as the series films its final season. And sometimes, even when staying in the tourist mecca of Waikiki, some fans don’t have to look much further than out the window to find the crew from their favorite show at work.

This morning, “LOST” turned up just east of Waikiki proper, setting up trailers along Kapiolani Park in the shadow of Diamond Head. And visiting fan Damian — who sent in the detailed filming report from Police Beach included in last week’s Transmission podcast — didn’t have to walk very far to check out the action.

The focus of activity was “The Lotus” (formerly the “W”), a luxury, 50-room boutique hotel, and specifically the Diamond Head Grill, a decidedly stylish and upscale lounge and restaurant. Fashionably dressed extras came and went from the set all morning. And while all the action was taking place behind closed doors, two castmembers were immediately familiar when they emerged shortly before noon.

Josh Holloway (Sawyer) was spotted, looking quite handsome, wearing black pants and a purple shirt. But his companion was an even more striking sight, in a colorful evening dress: Rebecca Mader (Charlotte).

It would be fantastic to see what a safely-landed Sawyer gets into, especially after his misadventures in Australia. But to think that he comes across feisty, red-headed, globetrotting cultural anthropologist Charlotte? Tantalizing.

Ryan's Blog: “LOST” at Home [Updated]

November 10th, 2009
SPOILER ALERT: An early morning Twitter post from local social media star Russ (a.k.a. @ParkRat) revealed the tell-tale presence of production trailers near Kahala Mall. It was a modest, mostly interior shoot, so there were few details. But those few details are still worth pondering.

A visiting fan followed Russ’ clue to a residential street just off Kilauea Ave. All the magic was happening inside a plain looking home. But two actors were seen coming and going from the set: Michael Emerson (Ben) and Jon Gries (Roger Linus, Ben’s father). There’s no telling exactly where and when the scene was set, but the visiting fan was able to overhear one tantalizing line of dialogue for Roger Linus, as referenced by the script supervisor:

“This is not the life I wanted for you, Ben.”

Whatever Ben’s been up to, mixing with students and teachers in a high school (see Waipahu High School filming reports here and here), it sounds like he’s still disappointing his dad.

As night fell, Tania Raymonde (Alex) arrived. And her brief scene took place in front of the house. She rings the doorbell, and Ben answers. They talk for a few moments, with Alex saying something like, “You’re the best,” and then leaves. Ben lingers at the door for a second, then closes it.

Is Alex still Ben’s daughter? If so, is she not living with Ben? Whatever the case, his family situation doesn’t look like it’s any simpler than it was on the island.

The shoot was among the last for Episode 6×07, which is Ben-centric.

ODI: Episode 6x08 - Title Confirmed

Posted by The ODI on Thursday, November 12, 2009

Thanks to our good friend DarkUFO for the heads up that the title for Episode 6x08 has been confirmed as "Recon".

There was a poll for the title posted initially and the other titles referenced Sawyer storylines, so the early speculation is that this episode is Sawyer-centric.

Exclusive: 'Lost' retains 'L.A. Law' alum Sheila Kelley

by Michael Ausiello

Actress-turned-erotic exercise pioneer Sheila Kelley has found a plum role on the final season of Lost, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Kelley — best known acting-wise for her three-year stint as secretary Gwen Taylor on L.A. Law — will play the recurring role of Kendall, an intellectual beauty with a sharp edge to her wit who is caught committing corporate espionage and has to lie her way out.

At least that’s the info Team Sneakmeister Darlton circulated around town when they were casting the role. For all I know Kelley is replacing an AWOL Mira Furlan as Rousseau.

Episode 6x07 - Title Confirmed

Posted by The ODI

Thanks to our good friend DarkUFO who ran a poll about the title for Episode 6x07 and eventually revealed the title as "Dr. Linus".

Now that is a very interesting title and is the first title of the season that does not seem to mirror a title from Season 1.

Is this a potential Ben centric episode or is there another Linus running around LOST Universe!?

Who might not return to Lost?

Despite reports that Lost's hottest bikini-wearer ever Maggie Grace is coming back to the ABC cult fave, I am now told exclusively that Maggie has not yet signed on to return for the final season.

A rep for the actress tells me: "It has not been confirmed that [Maggie] is returning [to Lost]. She has been asked, but nothing more than that."So does this mean that she is the Lost "holdout" I've been teasing for a few weeks?

Confession time: Yes, Maggie was the Lostie I was referring to when I wrote the blind item about a "holdout" among the original cast who had been offered a return to the series but had not accepted. Reliable inside sources tell me she's the only original cast member so far who has been asked back to the series and unable to return. She has not shot any new scenes for the final Lost season. However, according to her rep, Maggie had a very good reason for not making the trek to Hawaii: "She did three movies back to back to back and just got back from filming last Thursday."

Little Snippet on Elizabeth Mitchell

Thanks to Andy for the heads up on this little snippet.

Mitchell, by now a pro at keeping "Lost's" patented twists under wraps, will add only, "I've already shot [scenes] with Sawyer. It's one of those things where it appears to be one thing, and then it turns into something else."

“LOST” in Familiar Territory

“LOST” in Familiar Territory
November 2nd, 2009 · 1 Comment · Lost, Pop Culture, Technology
SPOILER ALERT: The first “LOST” location shoots of the month were staged in familiar territory. Today’s reports are brief, but hopefully worth sharing on this rainy Monday. Also: Photos!

This morning, “LOST” was spotted at Hawaii Medical Center East on Liliha St., otherwise known as St. Sebastian Hospital. The scene took place in the emergency room, and thus beyond prying eyes. But a group of nurses were a titter, having spotted Jack (Matthew Fox), Sayid (Naveen Andrews) and “his girlfriend” — presumably Nadia (Andrea Gabriel). As we’re beginning to see, even in a universe where Oceanic Flight 815 arrives safely in Los Angeles, our friends are inexplicably crossing paths.

And this afternoon, visiting fan “Daisy from Hazzard County” was among several visitors (including a group on a “LOST” tour) who happened upon a “LOST” shoot at Papailoa Beach (a.k.a. Police Beach), the main beach camp of several seasons past. Rain bursts made for a tricky shoot, but the crew persevered.

In the scene were Ben (Michael Emerson), Frank (Jeff Fahey), Ilana (Zuleikha Robinson), Miles (Ken Leung), and Sun (Yunjin Kim). In one scene, Frank was gathering wood and working in the sand, and in another, he was toting a gun. Then, it was Ben’s turns to dig around in the sand. Finally, Ilana had Ben at gunpoint, and marched him down the beach.

Lost: Who'll Get Lucky with Selena?

By William Keck November 03, 2009 10:51 AM EST

Lost is currently looking for a 30-something actress, described as a "striking beauty who knows how to use it" to bed an attractive man (possibly Jack or Sawyer...who knows? With Juliet possibly dead, there's one less lady around to offer TLC.)

This Selena woman is also mischievous and confident - until a deal goes wrong and she no longer knows whom to trust. She'll be involved in a corporate setting... all sounds sorta Widmorish to me. Boy, I can't wait for this new season to start.

One returning Cast Member

Rebecca Mader Returns for Season 6!!

Posted by DarkUFO on Monday, November 2, 2009

Rebecca Mader, who was prematurely killed off Lost last season, has agreed to reprise her role of anthropologist Charlotte Lewis after completing a string of back-to-back films—including “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” with George Clooney, and 2010’s “Ceremony,” with Uma Thurman. “I am beyond thrilled to be returning to Lost!” Mader e-mailed me. “Being a part of this show has been one of the greatest moments in my career thus far. I’m excited to see everyone!” Everyone, I assume, includes that polar bear skeleton Charlotte discovered in the Tunisian desert. (Please, let her return finally explain how that creature got there!)

“LOST” in Late October

October 30th, 2009
SPOILER ALERT: Leading into Halloween, it’s been relatively quiet for “LOST” production. Most of the work took place behind closed doors at the Hawaii Film Studio. But a couple of visiting fans stumbled across the crew at work at location shoots that bookend the week, and passed along brief reports.

Brooke, the California fan who already sent in the report from the Kahala shoot covered in the last “Transmission” podcast, found “LOST” at work on Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu at the Ko’olau Golf Club in Waimanalo. There wasn’t too much to see, as the filming was taking place inside the church kitchen. But the cast trailers, and some friendly crewmembers, confirmed that it was a scene focused on Naveen Andrews (Sayid). Perhaps we’ll see him again demonstrating his culinary expertise. And he was interacting with both new and surprisingly familar faces.

Spotted on the set, John Hawkes, who’s playing a new character named Lennon. Lennon’s casting call described the character thusly: “Scruffy, edgy, charismatic, and slightly stir-crazy, Lennon can be deferential when it’s called for. He’s the spokesperson/translator for the president of a foreign corporation. He’s a wily negotiator, and far more powerful than his lowly position would seem to indicate.”

But that’s not all. The scene apparently also included Omar (presumably played by Anthony Azizi) and Keamy (Kevin Durand). Now, when we last saw these two gentlemen in the Season 4 finale, “There’s No Place Like Home,” Omar was blown up by a grenade kicked his way by Keamy, and Keamy was stabbed to death in The Orchid by Ben. Perhaps they, too, will get a second chance.

Today, “LOST” was spotted back at Waipahu High School. And, like last time, Michael Emerson (Ben) loomed large. But it’s the other stars that were spotted that make the school shoot so tantalizing. According to Pati from New York, mixed amongst many backpack and book toting students was none other than Tania Raymonde, Ben’s deeply mourned daughter Alex. She also saw, to my great glee, ninth grade science teacher Leslie Arzt (Daniel Roebuck).

There was a trailer labeled “Van Peebles,” who a security guard suggested was Mario Van Peebles of “New Jack City” fame, working with Jack Bender as a guest director or producer.

But most of the buzz surrounded one additional actor. Pati described him as having “a cop, principal, gruff, hard ass kind of look.” After spending over an hour on the Internet Movie Database, she says she’s confident it was William Atherton. Atherton — known to many as Templeton Peck in “Ghostbusters” or the annoying reporter in “Die Hard” — was cast for “LOST” only a few days ago, as confirmed by showrunner Carlton Cuse on Twitter. My money is on him being the Ed Rooney-esque principal at Alex’s school. But I’ll be on cloud nine if we get any scene with Emerson, Atherton, and Roebuck together!

On the Island, Locke is a true man-about-town... er jungle. Not only is he seen reuniting with a number the original Losties, including the badass, rifle-toting Claire, but he even finds the time to get stabbed by a genuine Iraqi.

Casting News

It looks like Maggie Grace is headed to Oahu in November to shoot top-secret Lost scenes as Shannon Rutherford, who was buried on the island back in ’05. Producers had invited Maggie back earlier, but the busy actress had to wait for shooting to conclude on a string of three film projects, including the role she just wrapped as Cameron Diaz’s kid sister in “Knight & Day,” also starring Tom Cruise. I’m hearing Shannon may be cut into an episode shot earlier this fall with brother Boone, played by Ian Somerhalder

In parking ther was a lots of truck, I follow the way and the other side of a bridge there is a new little camp, I take pictures, we can see a Dharma logo. Half an hour later I returned to the parking and I see Jorge Garcia, he embarked in a van and climbs to a trail. I back to the camp again in a little path, I get near a group of technician and one of them is Jack Bender, and Jorge Garcia is repeating a scene. The team descends to return after dinner, next it started raining and it was impossible to take pictures, but I mingled with the technicians. They were filming for episode six, Jack Bender gave me a bottle of water, and they have started filming in the trail several times. They blocked access to both ends,I descended the first time, Matthew Fox was walking ahead of me, he revire to talk to someone. He wear a red sweater and a red spot on his forehead. During this time they installed a big camera in a tent, but security didn't want I witness in the shooting. Matthew Fox is left with his car a little later, and apparently he has not turned to the scene of the camp. I left at 3PM. They had not started filming in the camp, but I knew there would be special effects and fire. The next day I went back to 13 hours, but they turned in another inaccessible location, I did not see anyone for two hours. I have other photos of the camp (next email), there is a chamgement the camp, I took pictures of the exact path where they filmed Jack and Hurley. Very beautiful tree easy to recognize, shooting back (they go down) and face. It has metal edges along the path. The day before, they camoufffé it with branches.

DarkUFO: Episode 6x05 - Detailed Set and Filming Report

Posted by DarkUFO on Friday, October 23, 2009

Here is another report from my good and "colourful" friend on the island "Le Point d'Exclamation".

Yo dark!Got more scoop stuff for ya.Was able to catch some filming
dude. You already have some pap snaps of the shoot earlier with Hugo
and Fox but here is what I saw a little.Rememeber dont use my bloody
name as those crazed lost peeps will nab me and take me to smokey or
some shit.

ok you will need to watch super careful when this episode is on the
air and will need a tivo or some shit to get a screencap as hugo who
actually seems to have gained weight
has some very detailed notes and shit on his arm from when he met that
Jacob dude in the that "shiney" area as one of your other crazed
sources called it!

I saw Jacob, hurley and this samuari dude lol called dogen or whatever
all together in the temple. You have some photos whatever already of
this set.

Jin gets rescued from the "pirate" looking dudes by would you believe
Claire of all people. She has gone all chuck norris on them and looks
f**king terrible!

She is all serious and unkempt and not the little hottie that we all
remember her for! (dont tell me wife I said that!)
She kinda resembals that crazy french chick in season 1. Jin then
wakes up in one of her makeshift shelter thing-a-me-bobs.
She has also taken one of the pirate dudes hostage or something.
little hard to make it all out as some big fat dude who was watching
it with me would not STFU.

Both jin and the pirate hostage dude are bleeding. Claire definately
knows how to work a weapon now.

Cant wait to find out wtf happened to her to make her so different.
I could not see more because those damn security blobs spotted us and
started to approach us but being so heavy we quickly out paced them.

also got some stuff on sawyer and kate coming up soon will shoot you
an email very soon once i have checked some stuff out but i heard
something about a wedding/engagement ring. its not going to be pretty
in your bloggy comments when those crazies shipper types read it ha
good luck with that

ill try to get some more stuff later in the week as my mate might gets
some intel on the new filming locations and scripts

over and out!

Episode 6.06 - Sundown
Posted by DarkUFO at 10/21/2009 07:42:00 AM (Comments: 39)

Here is the title of Episode 6.06 - "Sundown". No confirmation on centricity but I would guess Sun or Jin or both for now. So it seems Darlton are still following a mirror of Season 1 Centrics. Next up in theory would be Charlie but I doubt that, so who will 6.07 be?

ODI: Damon Talks About Kate and Juliet for Season 6

Posted by The ODI on Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Hey All,
LOST writer Damon Lindelof recently did an interview where he answered a question about "badass" Kate and Juliet and said if we like those two characters that way then we will like season 6.

Not sure now if he was saying we will see more badass Kate and Juliet or that we will see those type of characters in general in Season 6.

Thanks to Matt for the details and the audio:

On a show called GEEK TIME hosted by Jon Hein(Jump the Shark author), on HOWARD101 on SIRIUS RADIO, Jon asked Damon Lindleoff about Kate and Juliet not being as "hard" or "badass" as they used to be, Damon said "If you like those two characters as badass, then you'll probably like the last season of the show." I don't know if that's worthy of news. I think it aired Aug. 17 but I'm not sure

Is Harold Perrineau the 'Lost' holdout?

October 20, 2009 11:46 am
Could Oceanic Flight 815 be missing a passenger when "Lost" returns next year?

With rumors rampant that Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof will be setting the clock back (at least temporarily) on "Lost" next season and bringing quite a few characters back from the dead, E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos is reporting that one of the ABC drama's former stars isn't too keen to return to the series, which wraps up its six-season run next spring.

Citing unnamed sources, Dos Santos reports that "offers went out to the original cast members several weeks ago, and this particular 'Lost' star decided to decline." So just who could the final holdout be? Let's take a look at the clues.

We already know that series regulars Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, Jorge Garcia, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Naveen Andrews and Terry O'Quinn will be returning for the final season of "Lost." It's been widely reported that Emilie de Ravin, who plays missing single mother Claire Littleton, will be back in some capacity this season. Dominic Monaghan appeared at the "Lost" panel at Comic-Con, so he's clearly on board.

Ian Somerhalder, currently filming the CW's "Vampire Diaries," has shot scenes in Hawaii, so Boone will definitely be making another appearance or two. Despite his massive growth spurt, Malcolm David Kelley has turned up several times on the series since Walt sailed into the sunset at the end of Season 2.

So who's left?

The process of elimination would therefore leave both Maggie Grace and Harold Perrineau as the likely suspects. Although Grace's participation has not been confirmed, the actress has made statements that strongly indicate Shannon will be returning next season.

The finger of suspicion therefore points most strongly to Perrineau, who was written out of the series seemingly for good at the end of Season 4, when his character, Michael Dawson, was seemingly blown to smithereens when the freighter exploded with him aboard.

Following the broadcast of the fourth season finale, Perrineau was quick to question the decision behind killing off Michael in an interview with TVGuide.com, where he accused Cuse and Lindelof of having a racial motivation. "Listen, if I'm being really candid, there are all these questions about how they respond to black people on the show," Perrineau said at the time. "Sayid gets to meet Nadia again, and Desmond and Penny hook up again, but a little black boy and his father hooking up, that wasn't interesting? Instead, Walt just winds up being another fatherless child. It plays into a really big, weird stereotype and, being a black person myself, that wasn't so interesting." (For their part, Cuse and Lindelof denied Perrineau's racial accusations, pointing to the diversity of the cast.)

As recently as last month, Perrineau said that he hadn't been asked to participate in Season 6 of "Lost," telling TV Guide Magazine, "Nobody’s said anything to me and I haven’t asked." He did however indicate that he would be likely to accept an offer to return to "Lost," if asked.

Although it's theoretically possible that "Lost" producers have made overtures to Perrineau in the weeks since that article ran, sources close to the production say Lindelof and Cuse had ended Michael's story at the end of Season 4 because they had no intention of bringing him back, even in flashbacks.

So is Perrineau the cast member that Dos Santos hints at? It seems more than likely, though there's no definitive proof that it's Michael who won't be boarding Oceanic Flight 815 this time around.

Efforts to to confirm or deny Perrineau's participation in Season 6 of "Lost," via his publicists, went unanswered. We will continue to update this story as it develops.

[Update 1:03 p.m.: When contacted for comment, Perrineau's publicist said that she could "neither confirm nor deny" whether the actor will return for Season 6 of "Lost."]

ODI: Damon Lindelof Reveals Some Tidbits

Posted by The ODI

Here are some tidbits thanks to The Donkey Wheel from Damon Lindelof's appearance at a comic book shop in Sherman Oaks today.

Damon L. had a book signing tonight and he stated that when season one ended a woman asked him what is in the hatch. He signed something of hers and also wrote there is a man in the hatch that has to push a button every 108 min to save the world. She didn't believe what he wrote and laughed. This brings me to the things I saw he wrote today.

First he stated the Swan Hatch Paiting was "painted by Desmond to pass the time, but time came around to bite him in the ass"

Second he wrote "Sawyers true love will ALWAYS be Juliet. Kate, Meh."

Third "Why, Oh Why is it called the 'Swan'... literature, (name), literature"

Last "Faraday had the right idea but the wrong execution"

1) They are back (10/13) filming at Diamond Head Studio and Jacob is one of the characters slated to appear.Other characters who had scenes at Diamond Head (Bender Unit): Hurley, Jin, Dogan(I believe this is the Asian fellow)

2)Detective Rasmussen who talks to Kate at the hospital where "Dr. Goodspeed" is delivering Clair's baby, is a female detective, younger thirties something brunette, nobody that we have seen before on the show.

3) I believe this is the opening episode (6.01/6.02), where we see all this stuff with the pirates who are the Temple guard
They are shooting Alt. Realy stuff at the same time and I think the two shoots are moving at different speeds. The temple stuff with all the fights are taking longer.

4)Sayid was captured by the temple Others after the Incident, and tortured by them. But they are the ones who also healed him from his season 5 wounds.

5)When the other Losties get into the temple after the fight and Richard smoothes things over between the 2 groups everyone is releaved and happy to find Sayid alive.

6)This is where we meet the long haired Asian guy and Jacob will be here too.
Much Aloha,

ODI/E!: Latest Season 6 Details and Casting Information

Posted by The ODI on Thursday, October 8, 2009

Sooo here are the latest tidbits from EW about returning characters and some tidbits of what to expect in Season 6. The only real new casting tidbit is a return of Cynthia Watros aka Libby!

Also note and not posted here is that LOST Producers Damon and Carlton have convinced ABC NOT to show ANY new footage before the new season!?!? Oh boy...I guess we need to create our own with spoilers!!

Enjoy!

Adam, I'm here to please. (or TRY anyway. As I mentioned, I'm a bit rusty but I know you'll all grease me right up...OK, that sounded dirty.) I'm hearing that Dom Monaghan will be back, Cynthia Watros will be back, Iam Somerhalder, Michelle Rodriguez...the list goes on and on. Lots of dead people walking. It's the zombie season, ********* (JOKE) From what I understand you will see most if not all of the deceased Flight 815-ers and some will be back for an EXTENDED period of time. They've already been shooting.

NoMoreMrsNiceGuy: Okay, this may or may not be Sawyer news, but I hear that Ms Kate Austen WILL lock lips with someone in the new season! Place your bets now.

170/halle, Yes. I'm sure you already figured that out but my sources confirm that on Lost, we will see what would have happened if the plane never crashed and landed safely in LA.

Important Jacob Spoiler

Jacob's Child has Been Revealed!
Posted by The ODI on Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Yup, if you have not been following the spoilers in the last few days, well then you have missed that it was confirmed by our good friend DarkUFO earlier this week that Jacob has a child.

Well today we received confirmation that this child is Illana!!

This apparently will happen in Episode 6x04 the Locke centric episode The Substitute.

We also received another tidbit that confirms that there is a double meaning in the title of the episode with a possible link to either Ben or Locke being a substitute teacher in the alternate time line.

So what do you all think!?

ODI: Episode 6x04 - Several MAJOR Spoilery Details

Posted by The ODI on Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Hey All,
For the last several days, our good friend DarkUFO has been running a hang man game through one of his inside sources.

Some of you might have even participated in the game trying to figure out the mysterious details.

Well now it seems the fans have finally figured it all out and well it is quite interesting. I would say one of the most revealing details is that we will get a funeral for someone with the initials "JL". Since this is the Locke centric episode I would assume we could see his funeral. Although there is another character that we saw get stabbed and do not know his last name. Yes Jacob! Is it possible that we will see his funeral!?

Well here are the other details:

NOTE: Jake = Jacob in the details below.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE FOURTH EPISODE OF THE SEASON ARE A FITTING ISLAND FUNERAL FOR AN OLD FRIEND POSSESSING THE INITIALS JL, A SPECIAL TRAIT CONNECTING SMOKEY AND THE MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR STABBING JAKE, A DOUBLE MEANING IN THE TITLE, A TEMP AGENCY, A FAMILIAR SCHOLAR OF EUROPEAN HISTORY , AND ILANAS IMPORTANCE TO THE ISLAND FINALLY REVEALED. OH, AND MR. LINUS TELLS SOME LIES. BIG SURPRISE NOW.

Preston and Steve Morning Show WMMR Philadelphia

Aldo Coming Back

The Preston and Steve morning show on 93.3 WMMR are friends with the cast of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, starring Rob McElhenney. The cast of IASIP was in Philadelphia last night to perform their musical "The Night Man Cometh." This morning, Preston revealed that, while speaking with Rob McElhenney, who played Aldo in "Not In Portland," was given the script for Lost to make at least one appearance in the final season. This comes almost straight from the horses mouth. The only way to verify would be to get a quote from Rob himself.

“LOST” Encounter

October 6th, 2009
SPOILER ALERT: Sometimes it seems as if “LOST” can only be found at the far end of the Earth (or, at least, the far end of the island). But sometimes, “LOST” comes to you. I rolled into work this morning to find the production crew setting up for a location shoot right up the street from my office. Tucked in the loading dock behind the Gentry Pacific Design Center, a brief scene unfolded amongst some familiar vehicles.

There was a bright yellow Hummer H-2, easily recognizable as the post-lottery purchase of Hugo “Hurley” Reyes (Jorge Garcia). And beside it, the blue Chevy van spotted just yesterday as the wheelchair-ready ride of John Locke (Terry O’Quinn). Parked nearby, a large truck with the word “BOX” emblazoned on the door in red and white letters.

It was the parking lot of the Tustin-based box company that was acquired by Hurley and that employed Locke before the crash.

The scene:

Locke, in his wheelchair, comes rolling out of the building with a box of papers and office supplies on his lap. When he reaches his van, he sees the Hummer parked way too close, blocking his door and ramp. He starts to yell and gesture angrily, at one point throwing something. Then, Hurley — wearing jeans and a dress coat — arrives. Locke is still upset, but they talk. Then, Hurley pulls out a checkbook, writes out a check, and hands it to Locke.

Why was Locke taking a box out of the box company, and why did Hurley pay him? Spontaneous severance? In any case, finally in Season 6, it looks as if the amusing coincidence of Locke working for the same company that Hurley owns is taking on greater meaning.

Latest from Ryan

Posted by DarkUFO on Monday, October 5, 2009

“LOST” took over a quiet residential street in Waikele this morning. And groggy as I was stopping by on my way to work, I had to do a double-take: the show had been there before.

The very same street was used during Season 2 episode “Lockdown,” where Locke (Terry O’Quinn), working as a home inspector, checked out a property acquired by Nadia. Today, however, Sayid’s childhood sweetheart was nowhere to be seen. Although the location was again California, this time it looked like we were visiting the residence of Locke’s lost love, Helen Norwood (played by Katey Sagal, who posted a note on Twitter that she was in Hawaii yesterday, but since deleted it).

A camera dolly was set into the street, and several extras were coached on how to create the illusion of suburban tranquility. A young blonde girl rode around on her bike, and a little boy in a red shirt rolled past on his skateboard. A mail carrier made his rounds, and another man walked his dog across the street. Over and over and over again.

Terry O’Quinn soon arrived on set, wearing a white dress shirt with blue stripes. He was also carrying an acoustic guitar, but I gather it’s just something the actor plays on set now and then, rather than a prop for the scene. He climbed into a blue Chevy van with a wheelchair ramp, and when action was called, he drove the van around the corner and up to Helen’s house.

The stage was set for a confrontation of sorts, but one I wasn’t able to watch from the corner. I gather, though, that relations between Locke and Helen aren’t much better than they were the last time we saw the two of them together. Indeed, as a crewmember explained to an elderly couple walking through the neighborhood, the scene would end with our hapless Locke tumbling to the ground… just as the lawn sprinklers came on.

Poor, poor Locke!
